One-off commissions

Custom Work, Shaped to Your Timber

Every commission begins with a conversation about wood. We consult on walnut, maple, and exotic hardwoods, then shape each gunstock war club, stinger, or axe to your dimensions, balance, and display intent. No two pieces are the same, and none are built from a template.

Share your concept, the timber you prefer, and how the piece will be used or displayed. We will reply with a plan covering material, carved dimensions, and an estimated timeline before any cutting begins.

How a commission unfolds

From Timber to Finished Piece

01

Consult on Material

We review walnut, maple, and exotic hardwoods with you, weighing grain, color, and hardness against how the piece will be handled or displayed.

02

Shape and Weight

Each piece is carved and shaped by hand, then weighted and balanced to your specifications so it feels right in the grip or the hand that holds it.

03

Detail and Finish

Decorative detailing is added with care, then hand-rubbed oil finishes bring out the natural grain while building lasting durability.
